Rare Original PHILLIPS 66 PHILCHECK Dealer Sign. This listing is for Phillips 66 PHILCHECK sign only, the white & green original TEXACO sign is in a separate listing.

Not all Phillips 66 stations were considered PHILCHECK Dealer stations, only a select few were. The Phillips Petroleum Company would award a Phillips 66 station as a PHILCHECK DEALER that had complied with all requirements for the providing of superior lubrication & automotive service.

The service station would then be awarded a 7" x 9" brass award to hang on wall appointing them an authorized PHILCHECK DEALER. Complete sign measures 108" or 9 feet long x 7" tall x ½ deep. Each letter measures 6" tall x ½" deep. The 1 piece 108" x 1" x ½ metal u-channel that letters are connected to is original to sign. Some of the nuts & bolts are original and some look to have been replaced over time with newer hardware.

All the cast letters are original except the second C, it is made of plastic & is same size as other original cast C. Let me know if you need more pictures or have any questions.
