Antique Pre-war Drive A Buick Dealership Tin Trash Can Ashtray 100%Orig RARE

DON'T HESITATE TO OFFER. If you love old advertising, car, gas, oil, petroliana stuff, or just even old antique cash trays. This little guy is for you. These were not available to the public. They were only available to dealerships (I have only ever seen one other).

This ashtray is in the shape of a garbage / trash can and reads "KEEP OUR STREETS BEAUTIFUL" "DRIVE A BUICK"... This beautiful little slice of advertising automotive history is extremely rare and rarely ever comes up for sale. If you do not want to use it as an ashtray it also is a great pencil holder or just a little adorable display. The lid is hinged and swings back and forth just like a regular trash can.

It is made out of strong tin. The body of it is blue and the lettering is white. There are also four circular nubs on the bottom of the trash can.

I would consider it in near mint condition with only a very small amount of abrasion along the one edge of the lid's rim (shown best in picture #3). Other than that there are very few scratches.

In my own personal opinion I do not believe anyone even ever used it as an ashtray. The inside is also quite clean. I'm sorry that I have to mention this, but the cigarettes do not come with the ashtray. If you really want to pack that bad, let me know (obviously for display purposes only)...
