Too bulky for parcel couriers so. You must give me a TINKLE. Can deliver to Devon, Cornwall. Southern edges of Bristol & Bath.
All genuine interest is welcome (but I'll quickly lose interest in'wishy-washy' folk who can't make their mind's-up). You won't see one of these for sale more than once in a blue moon.
This is a'one piece fully welded' aluminium roof rack for various vehicles. Whilst intended for 4x4 vehicles, I can see it looking fantastic on a VW T2 camper! The roof baskets dimensions are 160cm long, by 115cm wide (and it's roughly 180mm high). Could also be mounted'transversely' on double cab pick-up trucks to create useful extra load space. Made from robust ALUMINIUM to suit 4x4's like the G-Wagon, Shogun, Jeep, Landrover, Land Cruiser, etc.
Camel, Dakar, or Safari style, and of course it'll never rust, unlike the mass manufactured powder coated steel variety. It's a'one piece' item, without any rivets or any'press fit plastic corners' - it's made to last, and itself weighs in at circa 30kg. The whole thing's in superb condition, the entire frame is straight, and there are no dents, kinks, or damage of any nature. I have had it mounted on a 4x4 vehicle of my own, and have usefully carried all manner of kit from A-B using it.
Needs mounting clamps (inexpensive TV aerial'U' type clamps) to attach to your vehicle or its roof bars. Half a dozen stout'telegraph' cable ties would secure it from a'get it back home' point of view. Rather UNUSUAL item to stumble upon. They just don't come-up for sale very often. Could it be primed and painted?
Of course it could (someone asked this point). Alternatively make it gleam with metal polish, then coat in lacquer. I'm a decent vendor, with high standard old school morals. Please don't try making an offer where none are invited, it will only get you the cold-shoulder. (like everyone, I have real life job and many other daily commitments).
