Welcome to the listing of this beautiful rare 1970s ships piano by Zender. The Ships Piano is a tiny upright piano designed in the late 1800's for fitting into the cramped confines of Victorian pleasure boats. Apparently Captain Scott (of the Antarctic) was a fan and always had one onboard for a good old sing-a-long in the frozen waters of the south Atlantic.

This piano is also ideal for those with limited space but do not wish to compromise on sound and quality. The tone of this piano is truly exceptional for the size of the piano. This piano would suit a beginner or a professional.

The piano has been regularly tuned and is in tune to concert pitch. The cabinet is in good condition.

Overall, a looked after, unique, quality instrument and a fabulous eye catching piece of furniture. Please arrange this before turning up as we spend a lot of time out on deliveries so we may not be there. Take a moment to browse through our other items which will list other pianos for sale. We will deliver it and move it with our Piano trolley to your desired location. A few steps are ok.

Please let us know if you would like it up or down stairs as there are sometimes additional charges. We can remove your old piano for you before moving your new piano in. Sometimes we even pay something for them. Please send us a message with photos/ details and we will get back to you promptly. We recommend that the piano settles in for two weeks to get used to the difference in temperature and moisture before calling out a tuner to make any fine tuning adjustments if necessary.
