WW2 RARE Dutch Helmet M27 NICE AS YOU CAN GET 100% RARE ORIGINAL ALL CORRECT. I have had this helmet in my collection longer than I can remember. Its not what I collect but always liked it and really think it would be nice if it goes to someone who will display it. Why is this helmet rare well when Holland fell in 1940 these helmets were debadged as these were Royal Dutch Army (the royal family being in exile in Britain) and the collaborating Dutch government did not want these helmets used.

The Germans also had them sent to Germany and used as Luftschutz helmets. This one is rare because it has it all and its in superb condition. Most have been replaced or have replica badges attached. This helmet has its ORIGINAL SHELL which has the correct and ORIGINAL PAINT.

The helmet also has its ORIGINAL LINER and a non shortened ORIGINAL CHINSTRAP. Thanks to an ebayer I have added additional information the helmet is dated 1930 and the liner 1932. The M27 was the most issued at the time of the German invasion.

If I find any additional information I always update my item. UPDATE I found another instamp or rear of helmet on black leather part of the band at strap with the makers mark and date 1932.
